It's Social Media Friends Monday! This weekly event features a social media platform and gives bloggers and blog readers the chance to find new, interesting people to follow while gaining new followers! Today we're talking about Instagram!
What is Instagram?
Instagram is a photo sharing app for smartphones and tablets. I'm sad to say it isn't available to people who have neither of those. It is owned by facebook so I think we can assume it will be available to everyone one day.
Why instagram?
I think it is my favorite social media platform. It's fun to share photos of my day and get to know other people through their photos as well. I've met so many people through Instagram!
Each Monday we'll be featuring three (or more) bloggers so you can get to know and follow them! But that's not all! You can link up your own profile. Here's the catch, in order to link up you need to follow the three featured bloggers AND five others. It's quick, easy and a great way to meet people who share your interests. Plus it will help you increase your following. Interested in being a featured blogger?? Follow at least 20 people and leave me a comment to get on our list!
First thing is first. Log onto Instagram HERE. Now when you click the instagram profiles you can click the follow button and you'll instantly follow! Follow me too, please! Easy!
