My friend, Maria, visits a nursing home every week with her one year old daughter. She attends the knitting group. All of you out there wondering how to learn how to knit now know how! I decided that visiting the nursing home with her would be our day 4 activity for our 25 Days of Giving.
We decided to make some Christmas cards to take with us so we enlisted a little help from some of the other little kids at my Bible study this morning. We ended up with about 7 cards to hand out. The residents were quite surprised to get a card and seemed very happy. I was surprised at how well the girls did approaching people, handing out the cards and saying "merry Christmas." Naomi is a very shy girl so I was very proud of her.
