I've lived in some great places during my short life, and some places I don't even feel inclined to visit again (Branson comes to mind). I love the Northwest. I love almost everything about it. I love the weather, the people, the outdoors, the indoors, all of it. It certainly helps that my family lives here. Though, I think I'd love it even if they weren't here.
NYC was a bit of a culture shock for me at first. After about 6 months I discovered that I really loved it. Living in Hoboken was fun while it lasted. I am pretty sure I don't have an urge to go back and live in that area now though. I was very sad to leave there but now I'd say "no thanks."
Washington and Oregon (please pronounce that correctly- there is no "e" at the end) are absolutely beautiful if you haven't been. I highly recommend a visit. There are lots of different flavors, depending on where you go, but for the most part anywhere you'd go as a tourist is a great place.
So, if I could live anywhere, I'd live in Seattle. Especially at this point in my life.
This is the view from my Mom & Dad's house, yes the one they are selling. Crazy, right? Those white peaks in the background are mountains.
My brother and his family are moving to Liberia soon. I'm not sure that is in my top 10 places I'd want to live. Visit, maybe. I have friends that just moved to Spain, now that is more like it! I've never been but if I wasn't packing 4 people behind me I'd go stay on their couch for a while!
I've always wanted to visit South America. Australia is always intriguing. I think I'd prefer to live here though.
Where would you like to visit? Where would be your ideal place to live- even if just for a while?
