Fabric shopping in Los Angeles is quite possibly the best kind of shopping. It has the largest textile district in the United States. Dozens and dozens (hundreds?) of stores selling everything from scraps to high end wool. You can find it all in L.A. So where do I shop? (note that Michael Levine and Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft stores were sponsors of this event but my opinions are all my own!)
Before we get to the fabric, we've got winners to announce! (all winners have been notified by email and have 48 hours to claim their prizes)
Winner of the Grand Prize, Brother Serger: Shannon R
Winners of the $50 Gift Certificate to LowPriceFabrics.com, GoToPatterns.com and a Craftsy class are:

Chances are, you're looking for deep discounts if you're shopping in Los Angeles. The first place you'll want to stop is all fabric by the pound. You'll have to search a little to find the good stuff but you'll likely walk away with a huge bag full of fabric for $15.

917 Maple Ave.
Los Angeles, CA. 90015
