I made this cute little gift a while back. It's perfect for gift for anyone who sews (or is learning!). A little sewing kit in an embroidery hoop. It's also a great way to use bits of your favorite fabric. I had seen different types of embroidery hoop sewing kits online but none of them were quite what I wanted. So this embroidery hoop sewing kit was birthed. This isn't much of a tutorial but you can get an ide of how it's made just from the photos.
This one happens to be a pretty small hoop but a larger hoop could be fun too. I included a little pocket for small scissors and a seam ripper. There's another pocket too but it's mostly just for cute contrast.
I made a small leather needlebook to hang off a button. Might be my favorite part. I'll write more about that another time.
I used a linen for the background and my current favorite Liberty print as pocket trim. I should have made one for myself. This could solve the whole, "WHERE IS MY SEAM RIPPER??" issue that I have.
What do you think?
I thought it was adorable!! The fabric was super pretty and I love the way the little needle book hangs from it! Super cute!
Thanks!!
Hooray for jumping on the leather needlebook train!

I love it! It would be awesome to make a whole series of these to store different things in a craft room. I featured one of your images in this week’s “Weekend Inspiration.” Of course, there is credit and a link back
Thanks!
