I've never been one for a setting a fancy table but there is something so cute about name placecards at a table. I made these a few weeks ago and my children use them every night for dinner. It took me 10 mintues to make these but they'll be enjoyed thoroughly until we make a new set. This easy name placecard tutorial is sewn but you don't have to sew it! This can be a no sew tutorial if you don't have a sewing machine!
Supplies:
- Phoomph
(by Coats & Clark, find it in any craft or fabric store or online)
- Fabric scraps
- Paper with printed or handwritten names
Cut your paper any size you want. I made mine about 3/4″ x 1.5″. Using a long stitch, sew the paper onto your fabric. It’s easier to do this project if you don’t cut the fabric first. Don't want to sew? Just use a little glue!
Next, you’ll sandwich the phoomph between the fabric layers.
Peel the sticky paper off the phoomph.
Cut to the size you desire.
Use a binder clip or an actual place holder to display the tags.
Now I just need to make new napkins for the holidays with this great tutorial.
