Whew! It has been a busy week.
It started off Sunday night with the filming of my first ever video tutorial. Wow was that uncomfortable to post! It was good to get nice feedback though :) Hopefully it will help someone now or down the road.
Monday we kicked of the Clothing Sew Along. I'm so excited about this. I have the schedule all set out but I think I'm going to combine weeks 2 and 3 because there is no reason to keep them separate. I'm not sure anyone will notice.
Then Monday night I went to Kindergarten orientation. Are you kidding me? Already? I'm not sure I can handle it. I'm 95% sure I'm sending her, but that 5% still nags me. She'll love it though, I'm 93% sure of that.
My youngest is recovering from an ear infection while attempting to bring a few molars into the house, so you can just imagine how that has been going...
Thursday Blessing had her surgery. Infectious smile before but this sure is an amazing after picture!
Thursday also started the weekly Make it, Wear it blog carnival/party/linkup/whatever you want to call it. I was excited to see how many links there were! Join in will you? The MckLinky is still open. Stop by next week to see who I feature!
I've been working on a few sewing projects but nothing is finished. I'm a little hesitant to show any of them because they are all gifts. I'm pretty sure the recipient of this one won't be reading my blog though so I'll give you a peek at this.
This is the first time I've used my embroidery machine for much of anything so it was pretty exciting. I still need to attach the flowers, obviously. This is a gift for a little girl whose dad is just hours away from getting on a plane to Uganda. He'll be there for a month doing medical work so say a prayer for Matt! Thank God for doctors like him who give up time with their families to help those in the third world!
And today I'll be leading a craft at my mom's group. For the record, I'm not really crafty, I sew. But I've settled on the clipruler because it was easy to prepare, I already had most of the supplies and it is useful. Three cheers for the clipruler!
